Principles behind the Remote First Manifesto
We follow these principles:
- Our highest priority is to satisfy the customer where they desire to be served.
- Welcome change that provides advantages to both customers and workers.
- Deliver products and services with the shortest supply chain possible.
- Work should be asynchronous wherever possible, unless required otherwise for the customer experience.
- All policies and practices must meet the needs of a remote workforce
- Performance evaluations will be based on results and not any time or location factors
- No policies or procedures will require or be centered around an office
- Offices must only exist due to a specific business need
- Collaboration will be intentionally meaningful
- All work practices and performance measures will be based on trust
- Wherever possible teams will be self-organizing
- Well being of workers is good for the company, customers and society
- Being good earth stewards is good company policy
- We are people first
